Projects
We've had the pleasure of working on a wide range of HVAC projects, from small residential installations to large commercial projects. We're proud of our work and the positive impact it has had on our clients' comfort and energy efficiency.
We don't mean to brag, but we've received numerous compliments on our attention to detail and our ability to deliver high-quality results. We're committed to providing our clients with the best possible service, and we're always looking for ways to improve our work.
Here are a few examples of our recent projects:
Achieving Zoned Climate Control with a Dual Head Mini-Split
A dual-head mini-split installation involves mounting two indoor air handling units in separate rooms or zones, connected by refrigerant lines and electrical wiring to a single outdoor condenser unit. 1 This setup allows for independent temperature control in each zone, offering customized comfort. 2 The process typically includes securely mounting the indoor units to walls, running refrigerant lines and condensate drain lines through walls to the exterior, positioning and securing the outdoor condenser on a level surface, and then carefully connecting all the lines and wiring. Finally, the system is evacuated, charged with refrigerant, and tested to ensure proper operation and efficient cooling and heating in both zones

Post-Flood HVAC System Relocation and Upgrade at Antioch Baptist Church
Following a significant storm that resulted in substantial flooding within Antioch Baptist Church's crawlspace, a critical infrastructure project was undertaken to ensure the long-term comfort and safety of the congregation; Optimum HVAC expertly relocated the vulnerable ductwork system from the flood-prone crawlspace to the attic and installed new, high-efficiency HVAC units, providing a reliable and modern climate control solution for the church building.
Attic Heat Pump System Changeout: Efficiency Achieved
The air hung heavy and humid in the attic, a stark contrast to the crisp, conditioned air soon to be a reality. Today marked the culmination of planning and hard work: the complete system changeout to a modern, high-efficiency heat pump. This wasn't just a swap; it was a comprehensive upgrade designed to maximize comfort and minimize energy consumption
Project Description: System Change Out
A residential HVAC system change-out involves removing an old or malfunctioning heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system and installing a new one. This process typically includes disconnecting the existing unit, removing it from the property, installing the new furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump, connecting it to the ductwork, electrical supply, and refrigerant lines, and finally, testing the system to ensure proper operation. Homeowners usually opt for a system change-out due to age, frequent breakdowns, decreased efficiency, or to upgrade to a more energy-efficient model for cost savings and improved comfort.
Project Description: Garage Mini-Split Installation
This project involves the professional installation of a 9000 BTU heat pump mini-split system within a residential garage. The installation will provide efficient heating and cooling, enhancing the garage's comfort and usability.
Project Description: Heat Pump Split System Installation with Surge Protection
This project details the complete installation of a heat pump split system, including integrated surge protection. The installation provides efficient climate control while safeguarding the system from electrical surges, ensuring long-term reliability.
